1. What is the deposit & cancellation policy?

Winter Season November - April
A 25% deposit is due at the time of booking and is refundable until 30 days prior to your arrival. If the reservations is cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival, the full balance on the reservation is forfeited.

Summer Season May - October
1 night room and tax will be charged for any cancellation made within 24 hours of arrival

2. What are check- in and check- out times?

Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is 10am. If you arrive before your room is ready we are happy to hold your luggage until your room is ready.  

3. Is there a resort fee?

There is a resort fee charge that equals 15% of your room rate.  This charge includes internet access, ski valet, the nest, and après ski in ski valet, and pool amenities.

4. How do I get to and from the airport? Will I need a car?

You won’t need a car for your Snowpine vacation, there is no covered parking and it can snow a lot. We can arrange shuttle service for you to and from the airport in 4 wheel drive vehicles driven by experts. Just email your airline, flight number and arrival time to info@thesnowpine.com and we will arrange your ride.

5. What will the weather be like? What should I pack?

It has become harder and harder to predict the weather. It is always a good idea to think in layers, that way you are prepared for any conditions.

6. What time do the lifts open?

The lifts open at 9:15am and most close at 4:30pm. The Cecret and Supreme lifts close at 4pm.

7. How much do lift tickets cost?

Lift tickets can be purchased through Alta Ski Resort. http://www.alta.com/pages/tickets.php

8. Where can I rent gear?

Gear can be rented through Power House and picked up on the 1st floor. http://powderhouseskishop.com/

9. Is there internet access in the lodge?

Yes we have complimentary wireless access throughout the building.

10. Can I send my skis ahead of time?

Yes. Skis can be shipped in advance by UPS or FedEx.

11. Do you serve alcohol?

We have a progressive wine list and an extensive selection of local microbrews. We carry the basic spirits. If there is something special you would like please let us know in advance.

12. Are there laundry facilities available for guest use?

Yes, we have a coin operated washer and dryer. Detergent is available at the front desk.

13. We have snowboarders in our group, how will they get to Snowbird?

We can shuttle skiers and snowboarders to and from Snowbird. It is only about 5 minutes away.

14. Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed in Alta. Alta is located in Little Cottonwood Canyon which is a watershed zone for the Salt Lake Valley, requiring all pets to gain a licence from the city. 

15. What if I don’t ski, is there anything to do?

The Snowpine Lodge offers activities for every guest. You can enjoy a day at the Spa, play games in the game room, experience the great outdoors by snowshoeing or cross country skiing, or sit by the fire and read a book or watch a movie.

16. Is there child care available at the Lodge?

The Snowpine Lodge does not have a child care service.
